Why Precautions Will Still Be Around After The Pandemic?

Why Precautions Will Still Be Around After The Pandemic?

Whilst the UK, and the whole world, make great progress developing multiple vaccines and their rollout to the general public. The vaccine is one part of the solution. Sanitising hands and surfaces is a vital part of staying safe and keeping the virus at bay.

So all of us making individual efforts to reduce and prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria, coronavirus or otherwise is just as vital now as it has ever been.

Why sanitising is here to stay and why we still need to take precautions?

  • There are multiple strains of the virus. As of February 2021 there are currently 3 main strains (South Africa, UK & Brazil). These all appear to have varying symptoms and all differ in their response to the vaccines produced.
  • There is no guarantee that coronavirus will be totally vanquished; the virus is in fact a strain that has never appeared before.
  • These are good habits to keep – we all need to stay safe and healthy. We all know that taking care of ourselves goes a long way and in the case of self hygiene that can protect ourselves and our loved ones.
  • People are now a lot more conscious of their personal hygiene. 50% of the UK even before the first lockdown, changed their self hygiene habits with word that the pandemic was spreading according to a leading global health company. The little things do add up to make a big difference. Being self aware on top of having good habits with our own hygiene mean we are being a lot cleaner and mindful regarding daily life at home and outside of home.
  • It shows a mindful attitude post covid as a society and individually.
  • It is a smart strategy for all businesses after the pandemic. Safeguarding your customers and workforce no matter the business type. All types of industry have had to adapt to the safeguarding and providing of measures to keep their customers, workforce and business safe.
  • Positive outward message to customer and client facing businesses of all sizes. After the worst of the pandemic is over, there is more than likely going to be a lasting impression on society. Keeping up best practices in hygiene will show that you care about safety as a business.
  • Remote working allows companies and their staff to be more flexible in their work especially overseas with different time-zones. The adoption of remote working for some businesses and workforces has seen a radical change in the way they operate. Although a return to normality is much desired, there is a potential for a model of flexible office & home working for employees after the pandemic.
